Speaking challenge
🎤 Speaking Challenge: Step Up and Speak Out!
This week, we’re launching a Speaking Challenge to help students grow in confidence, fluency, and creativity! Whether it’s a short speech, a story, or a debate — the goal is simple: express yourself clearly and confidently.
As an English teacher, I’ve seen how powerful speaking activities can be. Here are a few tips to help you succeed:
✅ 1. Practice with purpose
Don’t just memorize — understand what you’re saying. Speak aloud in front of a mirror or record yourself to spot areas for improvement.
✅ 2. Start small
Not comfortable speaking in front of a group yet? Start by talking in pairs, then build up to larger audiences.
✅ 3. Use prompts and visuals
Stuck on what to say? Use pictures, questions, or real-life situations as inspiration.
✅ 4. Focus on clarity, not perfection
It’s okay to make mistakes! What matters most is getting your message across. Speak slowly, use gestures, and be expressive.
✅ 5. Encourage and support each other
Positive feedback builds confidence. Listen respectfully when others speak, and celebrate everyone's progress!
🎯 Remember: Every great speaker started with a first step. This challenge is your chance to grow — not just as a speaker, but as a confident communicator.
Let your voice be heard! 🌟
